The Silver Hen “Cards worthy of framing”. On the corner of Kensington Place, where it meets Gloucester Road, you’ll find an eclectic mix of peoplehaving fun, seated outside their favourite eateries. If you are vigilant you will notice the teeny-tiny North Laine sparrows flitting around and hiding in the tree. If you can;t see them, you will hear them, in between the seagulls making an awful din while you dine. 

The Artist – Nikki Brown “The Silver Hen hatched after a fabulous response to my whimsical illustrations I designed (and still do voluntarily) for my local community magazine in Brighton, “The North Laine Runner”. Silver Hen designs are playful, busy and bursting with colour, depicting local scenes and famous landmarks, all focused around Brighton’s diverse community spirit. 

I started printing cards towards the end of 2022 and now sell them to local vendors, now beginning to expand Nationally with new designs.”
